About Us

We bought 200 feet of seafront on the Placencia penninsula in 2004. We watched prices escalate and decided to secure our piece of paradise. The first thing we had built was a pier with a thatched palapa as we wanted to be sure we could get permitted for one. (There must be at least 1000 feet between piers in Placencia)

In 2005 we built a 2 story concrete structure with garage below and a fantastic 1/1 apartment on top. We placed this on the north side of the property leaving room for our dream house.

In January 2006, we broke ground on our house. It should be complete this fall. There are some pictures of a scale model of the house that Eric Brown built for us.

The houses were designed by Eric Brown of Sweeney Architects in Reno, Nevada (www.sweeney.com) and all the construction was done by Maya Rio Construction in Placencia. We could not possibly be happier. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
